I just called and spoke with the nurses and they said Kevin had an amazing day today. He was following commands and worked a little bit with the speech therapist and did really good testing his swallowing abilities.. I went and picked up some more stuff for him and they are encouraging us to bring him stuff from home that he will remember and relate too. I'm on my way up there now for the evening visit..can't wait to see him.

I don't know your family, but was sent this site by a friend at work. After reading over it..I can't believe how positive Kimberly is...it truly shows what type of person you are by how you react in tough times. I wish Kevin a fast recovery. Being a newly wed myself, I can't imagine going through what you're going through, it is really touching to see how much Kevin is loved by his wife and family! Made me cry a few times reading over it..but good tears, b/c of your great attitude and sense of humor. That will definitely help him pull through =). He's got a lot of support and you can add me to the list...I wish you all the best!
