So today was special in a few different ways...
While it started off a little rough it had a happy ending which is always how it should work. Kevin was a lazy bones today. He didn't wanna wake up for the speach therapist and apparently wasn't thrilled with the physical therapist either because all we did today was some leg work. Something he didn't have to put a whole lot of effort into. I don't blame him..after all he worked hard this week and its Saturday..( I think right?..lol) He deserves a break. We all do.
When I got there.. we got a special visit from my sister Annette and I'm pround to say new ( soon to be ) brother in law Brian. They got engaged tonight and I'm soooo happy for them. Kevin was so happy he even said Annette's name...Yay!! Oh P.S. Brian.. You bess be good to her or I'll have your behind layin right there next to Kev!! Sorry just had to give the big sister speech...Love ya!! :)
After that we chillaxed for a little bit and watched some TV.. Kevin's sister Kristy called and I held the phone up to his ear so she could talk to him. When I asked him to say her name he did! So he said 2 sisters names tonight. Overall it turned out to be a great day.

I think Kevin is over the small stuff. When I kept asking him if he remembers me, he gave me the raised eyebrow that said "Really? don't you have better things to ask me?" and when Kim asked him to say Annette, he gave me this eye roll and in a sarcastic voice said "Annette" So, I believe Kevin is ready for more intellectual conversations ; ) Can't wait til we can spend more time w/ him!
